Xavier College Preparatory School is proud to welcome James Dockery as the new Head Football Coach of the Saints. After a long and thorough process, the Xavier Recruitment Committee came to a unanimous decision to offer the position to Coach Dockery.
"My No. 1 goal when I retire is I want to feel like I've helped enough student-athletes make it to the next level," he said. "With Xavier Prep's academics and what I can provide athletically, it was just a match made in heaven."
Xavier College Prep held their 9th Annual Egg-Stravaganza this past Sunday, April 2nd where they hosted over 150 special needs children from the Coachella Valley to a special Easter Day Celebration. Freshman Xavier students paired up with special need boys and girls attending the event while they shared all the fun and games specially prepared for them.
Rotary Youth Leadership Awakening (RYLA) is an intensive training program for community youth leaders. Young people chosen for their leadership potential attend an all-expenses-paid seminar, weekend camp to discuss leadership skills and to learn those skills through practice and to bring back to better their communities. We are proud to announce the Xavier students chosen for the 2017 Camps: Moon Yue, Julia Way, Amanda Flores, Jacob Sullivan, Christopher Saliba, Douglas Sears, Connor Farrell and Parker DeKlotz
Two Xavier students, Jillian Barbato (Junior) and Reina Rover (Sophomore), were honored by being selected by the CIF Southern Section for the All Girls Water Polo Team Division 5. Only three students for the Coachella Valley received the honor of being in any of the teams. Savannah Hampton from La Quinta High School made the time in Division 4. All these athletes, demonstrated great tenacity and determination throughout the season, it is a well deserved honor.
