Father Howard Lincoln

Father Howard Lincoln was born and raised in the PacificNorthwest(Tacoma, WA), and has served as the pastor of Sacred Heart Church in Palm Desert, CA since 2001. He joined the Xavier College Preparatory High School Board of Directors at the request of the Bishop of the Diocese of San Bernardino in 2003. Before being ordained a Catholic priest, Father worked in television and banking. He earned his B.A. from Claremont McKenna and has advanced degrees from Fuller Seminary, St. John’s Seminary, as well as an honorary doctorate from Santa Clara University.

Bob Byrne

Bob Byrne is a Chicago native, and was raised in West Covina, California. Bob graduated from St. John’s Seminary in Camarillo but never took vows to become a priest. Bob toured with singer/songwriter Bob Hurd before becoming a campus minister at Mount St. Mary’s College in Oakland. He then worked at the County Assessor’s Office, and was recruited by Marvin F. Poer to continue his work in property value assessment until the company downsized in 1997. Bob then started his own firm, Byrne & Clayton Consulting, and serviced hotels and golf courses throughout the United States. He retired in 2014, and currently resides in La Verne, California with his wife, Susan. Bob and Susan have been married for 22 years. Bob joined the Xavier Board of Directors this year.

John Fitzpatrick

John Fitzpatrick is an accomplished resort real estate development and management professional who has worked in the Coachella Valley since 2002. Originally from Pasadena, CA, John is a graduate of Loyola High School in Los Angeles and Stanford University. A member of the Xavier Board of Directors since 2010, John resides with his wife, Kim (University of San Diego), and two children, Timothy and Ella, in Indian Wells.

Susan Harvey

Susan has been a licensed Commercial Realtor in the valley for over 23 years. Susan was recently recognized as the top producing agent for all of Riverside County.

Susan started her career in Commercial Real Estate in 1987 with Lusardi Construction Company with the development, sales and leasing of the Rancho Coachella Business Center a 280 acre business park in Coachella and the Rancho Coachella Vineyards Specific Plan a 240 acre residential specific plan. Susan was instrumental in application and ultimately the successful designation of the Enterprise Zone for the Easter Coachella Valley as well as the approval of the Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport master plan for expansion.

In 1993 Susan along with partner, Paula Turner started Desert Pacific Properties, which for over 17 years has been a dominant force in Eastern Coachella Valley Commercial Real Estate. Susan and Paula collectively have been involved in dozens of major residential and industrial projects throughout the valley.

Lynn Mallotto

Lynn Mallotto has been a resident of the Coachella Valley since 1980 and, after retiring from 23 years of public service with the City of Cathedral City, now serves as the CEO/President of the Cathedral City Chamber of Commerce. Lynn has served on the boards of St. Theresa School and Pastoral Council, and served for 25 years on the board of the Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center at Eisenhower Medical Center. Lynn first served on the Xavier Board of Directors from 1999-2000 and she was invited to rejoin the Board in 2010.

Robert McAdams

Robert (Bob) McAdams has been married to his wife Fran for over fifty years and raised his family in Saratoga, a suburb of San Jose, California. He’s been involved in Jesuit education as a parent for many years, having sons who have attended Bellarmine Prep, Santa Clara University, and Georgetown Medical School. He was Chief Financial Officer for two Silicon Valley NYSE corporations and retired 1997 and moved to the desert in 2002. Ever generous with his experience and expertise, Bob has chaired the finance council at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, currently serves on the Sacred Heart Parish finance council, is a Chaplain’s Assistant at Eisenhower Hospital, and serves as Treasurer on the Xavier Board of Directors.

Deacon Larry McDonald

Deacon Larry McDonald was born in Nebraska and he and his wife, Karen, are residents of Mercer Island, WA, and spend the cooler winter months in the Palm Desert area. Larry was CEO of Gai's Bakery and the Seattle Coffee Company (Seattle's Best Coffee). He joined the Xavier Board in April of 2015.

Father John Mitchell, SJ

Father John T. Mitchell, S.J., a native SanFranciscan, attended St. Ignatius High School in San Francisco and then majored in electrical engineering at Santa Clara University. In 1962 he entered the Society of Jesus. Ten year later he was ordained to the priesthood in San Francisco. Over the years he has served as a faculty member and administrator in a variety of high schools including Brophy Prep in Phoenix, Bellarmine Prep in San Jose, Loyola High School in Los Angeles, Xavier High School in New York City and Loyola Jesuit College in Abuja, Nigeria. For six years he served as Executive Assistant to the Provincial of the California Province. In recent years he has served as Assistant to the Rector of the Jesuit Communities in Berkeley and presently at Loyola Marymount University.

Robert Schein

Robert Schein graduated from the University of Arizona with a double major in Finance and Marketing. In 2007, he earned his Investment Consultant designation from the Wharton School of Business. He is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®), and holds the Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses. Robert is currently a Managing Director and Partner of HighTower Palm Desert, where he leads the asset allocation, design and implementation of an investment portfolio review process. With more than 20 years of experience as a financial professional, Robert demonstrates a strong commitment to his clients and community. In 2008, he was honored as a top financial advisor by Reuters Advice Point Top Advisor and that same year, he co-authored a book, “Bridging the Value Gap.” In 2014, he was recognized as a “40 Under 40” Financial Advisor by InvestmentNews, and in 2015 he received the same recognition from OnWallStreet.

Service above self has been evident in Robert’s community leadership roles, raising well over $2 million dollars for local non-profits and having served on the Board of Directors for many local charities and education-based institutions. Robert is the founder of The Society of the F.E.W. and has vowed to empower women with education, support, and community. Additionally, Robert is a national speaker on the topic of financial education for women.

Robert resides in Indian Wells with his wife and four children.
