XAVIER COLLEGE PREP

Welcome to Xavier's Summit on Human Dignity. This event, hosted by Xavier College Preparatory High School and the University of California at Riverside, aims to address issues that affect the basic rights of all human beings. Xavier’s annual Summit on Human Dignity seeks to shed light upon a particular social issue through a series of speakers, panel presentations, and interactive simulations as it aims to be a catalyst, not a fix, inspiring creative, concrete responses to the neglect of human dignity. It is Xavier’s hope that the summit might contribute to the transformation of its students and members of the greater Coachella Valley community as men and women of conscience and conviction, willing to stand up against a culture that too often values expediency and efficiency at the expense of human dignity.
