Ms. Christyann Anderson
Christyann Anderson came to the Desert by way of Paris, France. After living abroad for 14-years working as an editor and writer, Ms. Anderson moved to Palm Desert and completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master of Science Degree in Guidance and Counseling with a PPS credential from California State University San Bernardino. She spent the next five years at College of the Desert serving as a Career and Technical Education Transitions Specialist, helping high school students successfully transition into college, both academically and emotionally. Most recently, Ms. Anderson served as a Crisis Counselor with the Desert Sands Unified School District’s Student Assistance Program assisting students and their families with individual counseling services. She is also a registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) completing her hours to become a state licensed therapist.
