Xavier College Prep held their 9th Annual Egg-Stravaganza this past Sunday, April 2nd where they hosted over 150 special needs children from the Coachella Valley to a special Easter Day Celebration. Freshman Xavier students paired up with special need boys and girls attending the event while they shared all the fun and games specially prepared for them. The Sophomore and Junior students led activities such as a hay ride, lawn bowling, face painting, flower potting, a petting zoo, photos with the Easter Bunny and a giant Egg Hunt. Friends and family of our VIP special needs kids were able to relax for a couple of hours, knowing their child was in the care of our students. The event was made possible through the generosity of our title sponsor The Highland Street Foundation, Del Taco, The Slice Pizzeria, Palm Springs Motors, The Cone Zone and the Xavier Families. Xavier parents also volunteered to help setup and decorate the event. The Xavier Egg-Stravaganza is one of the most cherish events for our school as we get to show we are not only a college preparatory high school, we are also forming men and women who are involved in their community and are committed to give back.
