A benefactor of Xavier College Preparatory advances an unprecedented project in the Coachella Valley. Xavier opened in 2006. From a student body of 48, the student population has soared to over 550 students from every city in the Coachella Valley and from every socio-economic background. Despite opening shortly before the recession of 2008, Xavier’s enrollment has increased every year, with an expected 2014-2015 enrollment at 575 students.
Xavier seeks to admit every student who possesses the desire and capacity for a Jesuit education. For these reasons, Xavier continues to provide financial aid to roughly half of its student body. Xavier’s leadership is especially grateful for its opportunity to welcome young men and women who will be the first in their families to attend college.
In its short history, Xavier has established an outstanding record of athletic and academic success. Its volleyball, soccer, and cross country teams have won Desert Valley League championships, and Xavier students have been accepted into some of the most highly-ranked institutions throughout the country.
