Xavier provides 5 counselors to support parents and students through the High School experience and prepare your student for their next best step.

Within the Jesuit tradition, students are encouraged to find their unique path toward living their lives as men and women for others. Our personal and friendly counselors work with faculty, coaches, and families to develop young men and women who will be educated, effective, and caring adults worldwide.

In the second semester of our Saints junior year, they will are assigned to a college counselor who guides them and their families through the college search, college applications, and matriculation to higher education. Additionally, the department organizes parent meetings for each grade level throughout the year. These meetings promote parental involvement in their child's education.

As the student's advocate, the counselor is a liaison between parents, teachers, and students. Parents are encouraged to call the counseling department whenever they have concerns about their child's adjustment to Xavier or academic performance at (760) 601-3900.
